Description

In an industry where competition is fierce and customer service drives profitability and loyalty, it is essential that we understand the dynamics of those at the heart of it all, our employees. This presentation will delve into key traits that define Gen Zs (ages 18-28)–such as their need for autonomy, preference for transparent communication, and emphasis on work-life balance–and how these factors influence their expectations in the workplace. Attendees will gain practical insights into building trust, fostering collaboration, and leveraging Gen Z’s strengths in establishing a high-performing work environment. This session will also present the findings from a survey conducted with auto repair shop owners, managers, and Gen Z technicians to explore the factors influencing employer choice, motivation, and retention among younger workers in the automotive industry.
