Mike is the third generation of his family to dedicate themselves to the auto repair industry, with his grandfather opening the first family shop in rural North Carolina in 1937. Growing up around the family business, Mike spent his childhood in his grandfather's shop and his teenage years in his father's, instilling a deep-rooted passion for the trade.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Carfix, which Mike has successfully expanded to three locations serving the Raleigh and Garner, NC, markets. In addition to running his business, Mike serves as the board president for the Automotive Service & Tire Alliance, a trade association dedicated to supporting the automotive aftermarket service and tire sector.

Mike is passionate about growing his business and helping others achieve small business success whenever possible.
