Starting out pumping gas in High School, and while still attending the University of Pittsburgh at the age of 20, Dave operated multiple Boron and BP gas stations at a time. Now with over 34 years experience as a shop owner, he is currently an ASE Master Technician with L-1 Certification, as well as the owner of Elizabeth Auto Care—a successful six-bay repair facility he built from scratch that he uses as the testing and proving grounds for his business coaching systems.
Dave has developed a highly effective yet simple strategy for auto repair shops focused on using free "local marketing" tools provided by Google and Facebook that outproduces more expensive direct mail programs. Committed to sharing his systematic business approach with other shop owners, he has successfully trained audiences including ASA and AASP chapter meetings and trade shows, NAPA Expo, Harvard Business Expert Forum, as well as his own training facility and leads workshops across the country.
