Owner, Cardinal Plaza Shell
Scott Brown’s father, U.T., founded Cardinal Plaza Shell in 1969, and Brown literally grew up in the business, first working at Cardinal when he was 7 years old. Cardinal Plaza Shell is a small, family-run, neighborhood automotive repair and maintenance shop that also sells a little gasoline.
Brown has been active in the industry having served on the Shell National Dealer Advisory Board, the TECHNET National Dealer Board, the Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN), and is president of the Virginia Automotive Association. Cardinal Plaza Shell is also a proud long-time member of the Automotive Training Institute.
Scott has been married to his high school sweetheart MaryBeth for the past 32 years. They consider raising their five children to be their primary and most important job.
